I'm a UI/UX Designer and I have been doing it for over three years. My passion is creating designs that are easy to use and super friendly for people on the web and mobile devices.
I'm all about understanding what users want and need, so I love conducting research to come up with UX strategies that make everyone happy. And the best part? I've got the skills to make those designs look amazing and feel even better.
Basically, I'm all about making digital experiences that are both functional and totally drool-worthy. If you're looking for someone to take your website or app to the next level, I'm your person. Let's make some magic happen!

Hobbies and Interests
<aside> <img src="/icons/geography_yellow.svg" alt="/icons/geography_yellow.svg" width="40px" /> I love traveling and getting to know new places, learning about cultures, and diving deep into what it’s like to live like a local wherever I go. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish and really want to learn Italian and Arabic.

So, expect this section to change every now and then.
Currently, in my free time, I am doing one or some of the following: Eating Japanese food, Listening to all of Huberman Lab Podcast episodes, and Learning everything I can about F1. Some things that never change are my love for TV series, roller skating, and swimming, so we can always talk about that.
<aside> 📖 I also read and love books, but would love to read a lot more than I do, check out my **Goodreads** page and help me hold myself accountable with the 2023 Reading Challenge.
My favorite design resources:

What people say about me:
I have witnessed tremendous growth in Micaela over the course of her employment at cord and I am certain that the skills and abilities she has developed will allow her to excel in any UI/UX Designer role. Micaela has been with cord for just over a year and during that period she worked on a variety of design projects from small to large and across the entire product. Amongst the many projects she worked on, Micaela also owned the research, design, and evaluation of cord Insights and the cord Salary tool, making sure every user requirement is covered and accounted for in the design cycle and build. Those tools give our users the insights and resources they need to find their best work and Micaela made that possible with her passion and dedication. Apart from being a great designer, Micaela has also been a fantastic collaborator that everyone loved working with. She always looked for ways to push the boundaries of how we can make cord a better product for our users. Micaela’s attention to detail, open-mindedness, and general UI creativity made a huge impact on cord as a whole. Katerina Pieri, Head of UI/UX at Cord
